A FEW WORDS

On June 22, I saw the premiere at Metaxourgeio and met Aggeliki Girginoudis, who directed it. Later he informed me that “22 people from different countries, we meet every Monday and share experiences, memories and personal life stories. An arduous, painful but ultimately rewarding and liberating process. The axes that moved us were birth- love- death and our common component is the principle that from whatever material one is, social, religious, ethnic, the feelings we experience in front of human situations are common".

THE WORK

We set to work going through the show scene-by-scene to determine camera position depending on the action, the lighting, as well as recording methods and the position of the tape recorder.

I was realizing my student dream with the leaders of the Vice Versa team. With one camera, continuous cuts, change of perspective, selection of frames that correspond to each scene, separate contemporary sound recording and attention to accents. It turned out to be a difficult undertaking for one person, despite the help of the others.
