INTERVIEW EXCERPT
Once the three "secrets" of my resume could become thirteen and reveal a bunch of such little hiccups and oddities, what should I do, instead of exorcising them and pretending to be the normal and strong person, I made them into stories.
To borrow and lend forms of existence, to live the adventure, to create worlds with other amusement parks, where the wheels spin fast, upside down, fly, walk, swim, love and comfort, offer what a child wants to grow!
And then the clerk found other fellow travelers. There are many who want to explore the infinite versions of our world. In the creative writing classes we create worlds rooted in the tradition of the children's book but also in its present and future.
For our writing to take root in the children's book tradition, it needs reading. The writer must see how others wrote, the classics and the modern classics. To re-read old favorite children's and teenage books with a critical eye. He is curious to see how contemporaries write, how they make their own stories, what they suggest to today's children who have a completely different relationship with the book. And so came the criticism. Which is essentially an invitation to discuss the topics that a book opens. The writing desk has become a "book spy" to quote one of the recent books I've really enjoyed!
But you don't make stories for children and teenagers only through books. You can set up experiences, worlds and adventures in other ways too. Thus, the writer also borrows the tools of the educator, the director, the storyteller, the teacher and the explorer of nature and sets up Environmental Education experiences. Because nature is the greatest mystery, an adventure without end and now it has also become a large laboratory of experiments.
